Preparing to fly out to Paris
Starting tomorrow, I’ll be studying abroad for 10 days in Paris/Normandy followed by a 2.5 month backpacking trip by myself. I’m planning on visiting France, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. Greece, Spain, and Portugal will have to be on another trip.
My flight leaves tomorrow at 12:05 pm from Atlanta, but my study abroad group is meeting at 7am for the 2 hour drive from Clemson to Atlanta. From Atlanta, we fly to Montreal, have a 3 hour layover, and then fly to Paris. Our flight arrives around 6am Paris time but midnight on Clemson time.
I’m worried that I’m seeing too much and will miss things in the cities I visit (10 weeks is a lot to plan at once but I guess it’s all part of the process. On future trips, I’ll be concentrating on one area but I figured I’d never get a chance to do something like this again, so I might as well take advantage of the extended time.
I still have a few things left to pack (and finish my report) but most things are already taken care of. I plan on updating this every couple days so people back home can follow me.
